I'm new to home brewing, i want to brew a German wheat beer that while is unique being my own recipe, is close to a German wheat beer you can get.

Could anyone help me out with more information, recipes, etc., that would help give me idea's to make this brew.

Here's what i have so far:

6lb liquid wheat extract (60% wheat, 40% barley) Unhopped

Wyeast Weihenstephan Wheat yeast

Now from searching the forums here, I've read that German wheat beers, use Pilsen barley. So i got the idea of trying out some Pilsen DME, how much could i use with the LME?

the extract will have all the grain you need you don't need to add more DME.

this recipe assumes a full boil. if you cant do a full boil you will have to modify it to fit your brewing style.
