Extract or AG? Dry yeast or liquid?

Dry yeast you'll be fine. Liquid might want to build a starter culture or use a new pitch.

You're fine either way. Might have some efficiency issues if AG, but prolly not. If it was a year or two old I'd question it but people have brewed with **** from years ago and it turns out fine.

Extract, it's dry yeast in the kit however I was thinking of buying the Weihenstephan yeast from my HBS anyway. The kit does have flavour enhancer liquids too.

Thanks

What do you mean flavor enhancer liquids? That's new...like...MSG?

You're fine. If you want to switch the east up due to preference go for it, but I personally would have no issue brewing your beer.

Listen to 99% Invisible on expiration dates. They're more than likely just a guess, anyways. [emoji13]

Apologies I was commenting from memory it's not flavour enhancer it's hop character

It should be fine as long as everything's still in the package. I doubt you'll even need new yeast but if you want to use a different brand go for it. Let us know how it comes out!
