Anyone know what these odd stains are and what products are best to get them off?

The crud on the sides of the bottom I can get off but the metallic looking ones aren’t giving up.

Do they feel rough to your finger nail, I mean rougher than the brushed surface?
What was sitting on the bottom, did you have a false bottom in there?

Might be the surface got etched or chemically stained. And that can happen with the normal chemicals in the stuff you put in it.

Did you just simply leave it full of water and unrinsed for a day or so after using it before you tried to clean it?

If it doesn't come off with a brillo pad, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, you have to repasivate. Once I left RO water in my kettles for 2 days ( had to go make venison sausage) and they were sparkly clean. After brew day I repasivated just in case.
