Ohhhh, that reminds me.. a few weeks ago I was driving on a nice rural back road in central PA about an hour from where I live, we passed a decent sized cemetery that had legit real estate looking signs that read, "spaces available" call such and such to reserve yours now!

Wish I would have got a pic but obviously was driving, I kinda did a double take and asked my wife if she saw it, and she confirmed. I never saw a cemetery advertising like that before.

It is rather stunning though to be honest... however the monthly payment is more like an average homes total cost.

The region historically was very busy during ski season and was starting to see increases in year round adventure tourism but the lack of snow lately is seeing it in rapid decline.

That placement is hinky AF. You see one pic of a clearly overgrown ramshackle abode (being generous) but when you click on the Street View towards the bottom there's a house shown with a Hummer outside - that can't be that same house.

Definitely a tear-down. It's the 8 acres of land that command the half mil.

If you look at the mailbox on Google Maps that’s 210. Next house is 142 but there’s a curb cut closer to 142. Looking at historical maps, that’s it and the house sits way back.

I've seen this a lot of times, frigs were available to normal people long after the house was originally built and so they never really had a place for one.
