First time introduction. My name is Nick, I joined the forums last week. My father Vincent was a frequent forum poster here, he was a huge homebrewer and I occasionally helped him brew some batches (although I must admit this isn't a hobby that takes most of my time & attention). Not sure what his username was... but I'll find out eventually.

Unfortunately, he passed away from lung cancer in August, leaving behind his vast amount of homebrewing equipment. I joined the forums to start making sale posts for his equipment to recoup at least some of the costs & give the money to my mother. So expect a lot of sale posts soon once I get past the 2 week waiting period! And if I brew in the near future, I'll probably stick around on here with any questions & troubleshooting help.

My condolences on the loss of your father Nick. This place is a fantastic place to just hang out even in you don't brew. There are forums for coffee roasting, cheese making (which will be my next endeavor) and other cool stuff. I like the idea of a brew in honor of your dad, but that is a decision that you have to make on your own. In the meantime, sit down, grab a beer (or drink of choice) and enjoy the greatness that is Home Brew Talk.
