I bottled five days ago and noticed today that when I turn my bottled beer upside down that a weird cloudy stuff starts to float around. It seems to go away after a while. First time bottling and wanted to make sure this was normal and not a possible infection.

Yep, should be fine.

Make sure you properly pour the beer from the bottle to prevent the yeast from pouring into the glass.

You should look at a Bells Two Hearted. Looks exactly the same and is one of the finest IPAs around.

since you are adding additional sugar before you bottle, your yeast is going to do its job and then drop out. Your bottles are little 12oz secondaries where your beer finishes and clarifies more.
An important thing to remember about bottling is to put them into the fridge for a few days, kind of like cold crashing, and don't shake them up before you pour. Pour slowly and stop when you see the settled stuff starting to move, rinse it down the drain.

Heck no! You drink that stuff like a boss! I don't let the stuff at the bottom get into the glass, but I always drink it down. Lots of goodness in the yeasties at the bottom

Makes your gas very lethal. I have a very active fermentation process in my insides as it is, I dont drink it because I dont need to help myself ferment anymore than I already am. My wife has it hard enough without me drinking the bottle trub!
