weight per liter of malt extract

i was wondering if anyone knows the weight/liter of malt extract. i understand it may be defendant on the type and so on.. but a rough estimate will do

Malt extract is 10.66 fluid ounces per pound. A litre is 33.8 fluid ounces. So... a litre would be 3.1707317 pounds.

Or 1.44 kg. A more direct approach: Malt extract has a SG of 1.44. 1000ml * 1.44 = 1440 grams.
