A few months ago I brewed my last extract beer, a wheat with WB-06, it had an off taste to it that I attributed to the extract scorching.

I just tasted a hydrometer sample of an all-grain wheat batch I also did with WB-06 and the same taste is there. I have fermented both in the low 60's so maybe it's clove??? I am not sure, but I am thinking of racking it onto some blueberries...

If I were to go this route how many pounds of frozen blueberries would you use with a 5 g batch?

I did 2 lbs in a blueberry beer i did and got just a hint. Ended up adding a smidge of flavoring. I bet 3-3.5 lbs would be a good balanced addition.

I've done a few beers with it - ferments really dry and I feel it has some Belgian characteristics. Also drops pretty clear. Not best choice for American or Hefe wheat styles.
