Has anyone used a Din-a-mite power controller to adjust a boil kettle heater? I have a model (DA1C-1624-C000) that gets a 4.5 to 32 vdc input and would like to control it with potentiometer across using a 32 vdc power supply.

My concern is that the specs for this unit show the "C0" input type to be contactor ?? Does that imply on/off and not proportional as I would like?

That "controller" is just a regular 16Amp SSR with embedded heatsink. It can't be controlled by potentiometer. But you can connect it to a PID.
