I am not good with math but later today I will see if my trusty computer will help. Or hopefully someone else will help you.

Thanks!

I only need to scale the amount if concentrate.

I think I need between 6 and 8 oz. of concentrate for a 5 gal batch.

I have never made rootbeer and don't want to screw it up since it is for my kids.

Deacon.

What are the ingredients of that concentration? I'm not familiar with it, but make sure it doesn't have any preservatives if you plan on bottle carbing it.

I"d mix it all up, and taste it to see if it's "right" before botting it. You can always add more concentrate then if it's too weak, but you can't take it out!

Yoop,

Polypropylene glycol, water, natural and artificial flavors, and caramel color.

SWMBO brought it home from the store. I thought she had Zatarains, but ended up w this to try.

Thanks!
