This is a question I’m sure has come up before but I haven’t found a good answer.

Is there a source or reference someplace that has beer styles and suggested water profiles for each style?

I know Martin’s software has them built in - amber malty, etc. Unfortunately I cannot use that program as I have a mac. When I tried to load it I ran into all sorts of issues.

I’m looking for water profiles by style, not by area or city. Its one thing to know Pilsen’s water profile - but that doesn’t mean brewers there are not adjusting their water. Right?

I appreciate any reference. I have the Water book, admittedly haven’t read all of it and the chemistry and calculations. I didn’t see a table or list of profiles.

Thanks guys
