Watching cooking shows when you're drunk

I watch the cooking channel a lot and of all the shows I watch, the only one I genuinely dislike is Nadia G's Bitchin' Kitchen. The strangest thing is happening right now, though. I am drunk an I am actually enjoying watching her show tonight. I even used the word 'tsaketa' with SWMBO earlier tonight albeit in a joking fashion. Anyway, does anyone else experience this? Enjoying shows when you're drunk that you normally hate sober?

I would have to be drunk to enjoy her show. Personally i try to keep work and play separate. Lol watching people cook while i drink is for some reason hard for me to do. But cooking drunk, now thats a whole different thread.

Haha, we should hang out. I come up with some pretty ridiculous **** when I am drunk. I am no chef, but I fancy myself culinarily proficient, so I don't have any aversion to cooking while drunk.

Not with tv shows, but I used to only enjoy my ex-wife company when I was drunk... till I couldn´t stand her even drunk.

Got to be that way with an ex-girlfriend. Luckily I broke up with her and met my wife.

Never saw that show, but shows I dislike sober I HATE when intoxicated. Same goes for music, commercials, etc...

If I watch cooking shows while drunk I can't help but find the things they say (ok, I mean the women) while they cook sexual innuendos.

"Stuff it all in" "roll it out until it is full length" "mmmm, it tastes SO good" "I like to beat it with the palm of my hand" "stick two fingers inside" "don't be afraid, you won't break it" "just bang it on the edge of the table" they seem to go on and on and crack me up.

Giada is def a lil hottie. We can't afford cable TV & comp connection,so I watch'em on youtrub. I like man vs food & triple D. But the Black couple is cool too. I forget their names atm. "Triple D" makes me think of my wife about 30-ish...
But then,I'm also the guy that drives through a lil wide spot in the shoreway called "Mitiwanga beach" & can only think of a Wookie in a bar bragging about his size. "Meaty wanga...wanga wanga...meaty wanga baby!"
