Any D.C. Metro folks out there, I'm a Montgomery County resident. Pretty slim pickings for good bottle shops. Curious to see where everyone likes to go where they can find the hard-to-find that I might have missed.

This county is weak for micros, weak! Here in Germantown most of the time I buy at Shopper's. If you get there wed-fri they have a pretty good selection. Beer's and Cheer's would be 2nd, but they are pricey. Also see there's a mainly wine shop in Rio but I've not been in, and I see there's a new store about to open in the new Wegman's center here.

If you are willing to cross the Potomac, Total Beverage (aka Total Wine) has a pretty solid selection of various beers. Heck, my Giant (in Fairfax) has a decent selection.

Total wine...we love it. Been going for months and still haven't tried everything they have. Largest micro brew selection I have seen in VA (or anywhere) so far. Size and selection varies by location. We mostly hit Springfield and Fredricksburg. Manassas one seemed kinda smallish. We find prices vary too. (My lagunitas is $8.99 in Fred and $9.99 in springfield)
