Warm Yeast Vial before adding to Starter?

Quick question: I have a chilled vial of yeast in my fridge and plan to make a starter this afternoon for a brew day tomorrow at 1pm. Do I need to warm the vial up for a 3-4 hours BEFORE I add it into my starter?
 
Yes,I even put them in my vest pocket to get some body heat going. I had to do my starter a couple days in advance to get it fermented & settled out.
