After seeing the spiffy partial mash thread here on the forums, I'm inspired to try my next project as a partial. I suppose I can blame "Brew Like a Monk" which really kick started some creativity (as well as looking back on the mistakes made with my first project)

So.. is there a spiffy calculator (or calculation method) I can use to convert an extract recipe to a partial mash, or an AG recipe to a partial?

Something that would tell me how many lbs. of Pilsen malt would equal a lb. of LME?

I'm essentially looking at recipes that seem inspiring, considering how to tweak it a bit, but I would like to have an idea of the base ingredients before I start mucking around with plugging it into a brew calculator. (hopefully the question makes sense)

thanks.
