First get your mind out of the gutter this is a homebrew site. Hah! The Japanese have figured out a way to get the perfect frothy head on your beer every time. Kind of neat.

My daughter used to work in a local restaurant and when customers would give her a hard time about a beer w/o enough carbonation, she would gladly fix it by going back and giving it a swift stir with a spoon. Prob solved... flat beer before it's half gone.

The Japanese have also have a very slick device in restaurants that serve beer. It's an automatic beer pourer, that holds a bottle of beer and a glass, and pours the beer down the side of the glass just until the glass is 2/3 full, then tilts the whole thing up to pour the last bit in straight, ensuring just the right amount of head in every glass. It's really pretty impressive.
