Here is my first stab at a keezer. I should that say I helped my father in law build my keezer; I really just followed orders!

We had a tight space to fit into as you can see in the picture. Fits a 5# co2 tank, nitro tank, and 4 taps.

We made the 3 walls out of a walnut plywood. Everything else including the top is solid walnut. The lid was a challenge because the freezer wasn't flat/level. We opted not to hinge the top, and instead it lifts off in one piece.

I am almost done with all the plumbing, Just have to wire the thermostat in and get the nitro tank filled up! Hoping to be bottling some cider Friday for a party this weekend with the Northern Brewer Last Straw, and drinking some off the tap!

The next project is to make some tap handles, as the cheap plastic ones pictured are only temporary.

Kudos, man! That is some nice work.
Good to see another woodworker on here...

Thanks! But I was just the woodworkers assistant.

A little off topic, but I've never had a nitro tap before. I've read some people hook their beer up to the nitro tap only, and some that force carbonate for a little bit with co2, then switch over to nitro for pouring. Can anyone point me to article or some science on which is the best way to achieve a good nitro pour?
