Walmart Kegerator Buying Guide

Hi all,

I received some Walmart gift cards for my Birthday with the purpose of getting the igloo kegerator. I saw that it does not have the best reviews. If anyone has some feedback as to either the Danby 5.2 or the Igloo 6 let me know!

I purchased the Igloo from Wal-Mart and I can't remember the model number, but it works great. Had just a shelf to pull out to remove the freezer, no coil to bend. Plenty big enough for 2 cornys. Added a computer fan to increase circulation, have to defrost every 1-2 months.

I can get the exact model number if you really need it but I think it was like 4712 maybe???

You might want to consider this unit:
Sanyo-4912-5-Cu-Ft-Counter-High-Refrigerator

It does not have a freezer compartment and is very well suited as a kegerator. It is what I use and can handle at least 2 kegs.

You can also mount a tap on top.

Anyway, something to consider.
