Either the networks have figured out that everyone hates the Vuvus or the South Africans are so discouraged with yesterdays loss that they have given up.

You can actually hear the crowd in today's matches and the ======<0 BBBUUUHHSMMCCCVVVVVVUUUHHVVVUUUHHHHWOOJVCODIJJCSJMJJJHHHHBBBB is much less loud.

Way better than it was at the beginning of the tourney. I have also seen a ton of shots of fans sticking in ear plugs. The earplug sellers must be doing a pretty business.

They tried handing out free vuvuzelas at a Florida Marlins game over the weekend. Apparently if you have a vuvu the urge to make noise with it is irresistable.

Sounds like they are getting better at filtering it which is welcome.

I took the family down to the Southern Jersey Shore (Wildwood) and there was a soccor tourney going on all weekend. All the boardwalk T-shirt stores were selling the Vuvuzella much to my dismay. I can't wait until next year when everyone forgets about this stupid thing.
