Volume units - US Gallons or UK

Hi there, I'm new to HBT and really enjoying browsing the site. Can anyone clarify if the units for volume quoted in most of the recipes are US gallons or UK gallons. I'm Irish so work in liters so want to make sure I convert correctly. Thanks in advance for the help.

Usually they are in US gallons, or will be stated if in liters. Welcome to the site!
