vinyl siphon tubing

Does anyone know if the vinyl tubing sold by HD, Lowes, etc can cause off flavors from using it to siphon?

As long as you're not siphoning really hot wort you're fine. It's the exact same stuff that you buy at the lhbs or comes with kits, just way less markup
The stuff is designed to carry potable water for all kinds of stuff, ice machines, fridges, coffee makers, ect.
