Vintage Fridge Help

I have a 1952 GE Fridge Freezer Combo. It cooled before I redid it, but now only the freezer will kick on. I'm assuming its a bad thermostat, but I cant find where the fridge thermostat is, since the wiring diagram is more or less destroyed. Any one have any ideas?

If you can't see another thermostat, I would bet there is only one.

You say "only the freezer" will kick on..........How do you know?

Only the freezer compartment will get cold?

Are there dampers of sorts, between the freezer compartment, and fridge compartment?

Post up a pic of it, showing the inside and out.

If you hear the compressor running then that part is working as it was designed, I think your problem is how the cold freezer air gets down to the bottom part. make sure all the doors are working properly and that they are not blocked off.
