Hi all guys,

I am about to brew Belgian Saison by Michael Dawson. The recipe calls for 50 % Pilsner, 40 % Vienna and 10 % Wheat malt. In 16 L batch I will ned 1.5kg of Vienna malt but I have only 1 kg. Would it be fine to add Munich light malt or munich malt? Could there be any flavor issues?

Cheers

It wont be `spot on` in flavor but will probably get you `close enough`
it will still be beer and probably a good tasting one at that.

Be a little darker and a little maltier, but .5 lbs of light Munich I doubt will make a huge difference. Might even add to the complexity.
