Brewed this up 4 weeks back, loosely based off Yooper's 'Fizzy Yellow Beer'. Tasted/smelled wonderful when racking to secondary for lagering.

4.25 gallons

7lbs Vienna
4lbs Marris Otter
60min .50 oz Simcoe
15min .50 oz Simcoe
5min .50 oz Amarillo
Dry Hop in Secondary
10 days .50 oz Amarillo

Yeast- Saflager 34/70 with a 2L starter

Mashed somewhere between 145-154, I left it for a while and the bottom was real cold and top hot, mixed, left and came back to same thing. So not sure.

OG: 1.055 (had some troubles, leaving some stuff behind so I boiled it down to 4.25gal)
FG: don't know yet, was 1.014 at 'diacetyl rest' may have stayed there.

Pitched at 60*, and didn't realize fridge wasn't working so that's where it stayed for 2 days. Then 2 weeks at ~48*

18hrs at 75* for rest, then crashed at 42* before transfer for lagering at 42-45* where it's staying for 4 weeks.

I'll dry hop at back half of lagering.

This is my first AG and lager...so there were definitely some mistakes. But I was pleasantly surprised at first tasting, of course that could change too i suppose.

Sounds awesome - let us know how it tastes. I've been looking to do a beer just like this for a while now...
