So I moved my scoby into a much larger container for first fermentation and checked it after about 3 days and noticed the funk was significantly more present than it was in the other jar. the first one was a large mason jar, now I have it in a dutch oven. I was wondering, because of more surface area on the top, will it ferment quicker than it did when it was in the mason jar?
