Any thoughts on turning it into a BIAB stand w/ a hoist (a la the Mini-Mite)? I was thinking of adding some u-clamps on the center of the back (2 at the top of the cart, one on the bottom) to hold a pole. The cart itself seems pretty sturdy with upgraded bolts..

Cool idea. Possibly concerned the gauge of metal used on top is rigid enough to hold the weight of the burner and full kettle. Suppose you could put a sheet of plywood over it to distribute the weight evenly. Like the drawers for storage.
I've been throwing the idea around to build one for myself out of wood but been too lazy.

I've got a piece of poo push cart from harbor crap that I store my brewery gear on. I use it to hold my HLT during brewing, and have the MLT and BK on burners in the ground. Switching over to electric now, but it'll work. Are you able to drop the toolbox down and have the BIAB mounted on top? You could store your hydrometer, gloves, etc in the toolbox then.

I like it. Good potential. I would try to mount a large ceramic tile (v. plywood) on the top whether running gas or elec.

still in the works- the cart height was too high so my buddy is in the process of welding me one in his free time.
