I need some clarification on how to use my nitro (beer gas) line to put a Scotch ale on tap. Normally I would force carb at 36 degrees at 9 psi to get 2.38 volumes of co2. My question is whether to hook this beer up to my co2 at a reduced psi (3 or 4 psi) then serve on nitro or force carb at ?? on the beer gas mix? I'm planning on brewing a vanilla breakfast stout next Saturday that I plan on putting on nitro as well so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most people carb with CO2 because without a carb stone it takes forever on the beergas. You'll want to keep the carb level under ~1.9 vol to avoid issues with excessive foaming.
