Using chalkboard paint on a kegerator

Just finished up mine last night, chalkboard on the top of the keezer and fermentation chamber.

Nice! How did you get that glossy finish? Was the top wet when you took the picture?

naaa, probably just the way the light was hitting it. It does have 4 coats on it though.

I just got some Chalk Board paint and have a few questions.

Do I need to sand chest freezer surface first?
Do I need to use primer, if so what kind?
And finally, how can I get the GE plastic emblem off (can I just use a razor)?

Yes, lightly sand the fridge it will look better
No, I didnt use any primer and it turned out great
Razor blade & Rubbing Alcohol for the glue

Thanks, I have never painted on top of anything other than wood. Should I use superfine sandpaper, and am I just trying to scuf up the original paint for better adhesion?
