Just bought a 12 gallon aluminum brewpot to start BIAB brewing. Can I use this pot to boil corn and stuff also or will it cause off flavors in beers I brew?

Yes you can. No it won't. I assume it is stainless. Just clean it well.

It's Al, according to OP. Boil water in it to oxidize prior to brewing from what I've read here. You should be fine after that.

My "brew kettle" is actually my canning pot, I just make sure I've got it nice and clean after I do a round of canning.

Heck, I boiled lobsters in my brew pot. Just clean it well and it'll be fine.

You can actually boil the corn in there with your next beer, or buy some bud light... which ever you prefer! :p

brew pots cant be cleaned, I wish someone would come up with a non disposable pot.
