I have a few ounces of aged hops I need to use. The unopened HopUnion hops are 3oz Summit, 1 oz Chinook, 2 oz Palisade that have been stored on my keezer for about a year at 34deg. I also have various small amounts of other opened hops to use as well. Here is the recipe I have come up with:

1 year old hops - shouldn't be a problem if stored well, and it seems they have. You can buy 2 year old hops today!

5 ozs of hops doesn't make much of an IPA in my book. High IBUs, but no flavor.

I would use an ounce of the Summit at 60 mins and reserve the rest for 15 mins or less. I would also shoot for an OG around 1.065 or lower if you want an IPA and not a double IPA. Also, look into how BeerSmith calculates the acid degradation in older hops. It may be for hops stored at room temperature.

Remove a few grains and like this for a hop schedule?
