So I picked up the following filter for hopping during the boil and whirlpool.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072PSP27C/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20
I had relatively few boil in the boil, but added 5 oz of hops for the whirlpool. I stirred the pot for 15 minutes and had this hop filter submerged in the wort. After removing this filter I realized the hops had swelled to completely fill the chamber. I'm concerned that this leaves little remove for the wort to flow through the hops and really get infused well.
What are you thoughts on this and how to you go about it? Perhaps 3oz is a limit for this container? It certainly did a great job keeping my hope material out of the wort - better than the nylon bags I had previously used.
Thanks!
