Brewed a Weizenbier and pitched Nottingham yeast instead of a Heff. What impact on the flavor will it have? This is my first wheat beer.

The nottingham will ferment cleaner than a typical wheat beer strain would, you won't get any clove/banana esters common to wheat beers.

If you have the wheat strain, you can still toss it in there if fermentation isn't too far along.

Otherwise, it will still be beer, it just may not be a typical wheat.

You won't have the classic German Wheat flavor... the banana/clove like lithy said, and it will probably be much drier, as notty can attenuate pretty far. My money is that you'll still have a good beer on your hands....
