Hi All,
I just met a guy from Craigslist who is selling a couple 5 gal ball lock kegs. He said he hasn't ever used them, but I noticed the gas connection has some sort of star connector. Has anyone ever experienced this, and can it be removed and used for beer? I tried a search but didn't find anything.

Virtually all of my kegs have that, I find that it's easier to identify... like ridges on a coin for blind people. Box end of a wrench fits- buy'em up!
 
Awesome - thanks! Yeah they look to be in good condition, are marked 2007 manufacture date, need o-rings, but $80 for two of 'em.
