When I went to all grain I bought a 20 gallon pot that is about 18" wide at its base. I currently have a burner very similar to the SP10 (jet burner). It can easily handle heating the water and boiling the brews, but obviously the rolling boil only happens at the very center of the pot where the flame is.
Would there be any benefit to my brews or even possibly a gas efficiency boost by moving to the burner that would cover the entire bottom of my pot?
