I woke up this morning and noticed the temp in my room was 61 degrees. My beer started fermenting at a stable 67-65 degrees. How big of a deal is it that the temp dropped this much? It's a Russian imperial stout.

Usually, your beer is fermenting at a temp which is higher than your room ambient temp. So chances are you're fine. Do you have a fermometer on your primary? That will give you a better idea of the real temp of your beer. It also depends on the yeast you used. What did it say was the best fermentation temp range? Depending on what beer style you are trying to brew, it's usually better to ferment at the lower end of the recommended yeast temp range.
