I posted a few days ago about the of carbonation in my latest brew. At that time i had opened one and found it to have only a small amount of carbonation. The next few I tried after that one were all the same. However tonight, I opened one and got the "proper" amount of carbonation. Any thoughts on how some bottles are more carbonated than others? They all look to be filled the proper amount so I don't think its a problem of headspace.

Describe your bottling process. More info is needed. If you use a bottling bucket, put the sugar in first, and then pour the beer in and mix thoroughly, you should get pretty even carbonation. Or if you dose each bottle separately, you should get the same or better results. If there is an uneven distro of sugar going into your bottles, then carbonation will vary from little to bombs...

Fermented in glass carboy. One gallon batch. The recipe said to use two tablespoons of table sugar in two cups of boiling water for priming. They've been in bottles for more than three weeks. I didnt take OG or FG readings as I do not have a hydrometer yet. Anything else?
