I've spent a couple of hours this morning trying to source another couple of kegs to help me with my brewing.

My first atempt was scrap metal merchants. No joy a dealers just been fined £1500 for accepting them so no one will admit to having any.

Next was the breweries. No joy they are either short of them or can't be bothered helping out a home brewer.

Third and final was to get in touch with KEG WATCH who help the industry look after kegs. I spoke to a Lady who put me intouch with a Gent called Brian Beswick who put me intouch with a man called Terry Desborough who runs the returns Yard in Burton on Trent. The long and short of it is I can have as many kegs as I want Legally for £5 each. Deep Joy.

I also have a contact in Preston but he wants £25 each.

Arkwrights also have Cornies in. Recondition with party tap and an s30 inlet for £47. Whatsmore, spend another £3 and it's free shipping.

A bit more compared to the $14 kegs I've just posted!

WooHoo....

8x11 gallon kegs delivered at a cost of £8ish each! I reckon that's got to be a bargain.

I reckon I can now build my 3 tier system and make a few meat grills!

Once I think of a word I like to get my use out of it, sorry.

"I reckon so", isn't that something the (great) Clint Eastwood would say (with a stogey firmly jammed in the corner of the mouth)?
