Typical wheat mouthfeel?

So i've brewed a few wheats, and they have all been pretty good. One consistency i have noticed is they all leave me with dry mouthfeel. Its not too noticeable, but im not a huge fan of it. Is this a typical wheat characteristic or are my beers slightly astringent?
 
Depends on what yeast you're using. German Wheats (Hefeweizens) will not end very dry, but American Wheats will...
