Hi guys, not really worried, just curious! I brewed a batch using WLP001. There was a high krausen at the 12-16hr mark (guessing, was not there to see it). Krausen was about 2-3inches high. Some of the krausen yeast had already started to dry up the side of the carboy.
I had a wet towel holding the temp at 62 farenheit, thought it was a little cold, so at the 30 hour mark, i took it off to ramp it around 64-66degrees. 3 hours later, another high krausen started to form (temp raised to 66degrees). I put back the towel on to stabilize it at this temp. I came back 2 hours later needing a blowoff tube. Krausen was at least 5-6inches high.
Ever seen that before, i think its beautiful!
