Turbo yeast?

bought this crazy looking black package of this turbo yeast (has two pouches connected to each other, one liquid nutrients, the other yeast)

and I was wondering, whats the best type of beer to use with this? what are the benefits? is it better with wine or cider rather than beer?

It's not for beer. It's for fermenting simple-sugar-based worts for purposes other than tasty beer. Thus the included nutrient pack - there's nothing in sugar wort that will provide the yeast with what they need to flourish.

ah wicked, thanks for the heads up... I noticed all the other similar threads after I posted this one...

sigh... I had high hopes for this, but it looked too good to be true...
