I transfered my beligan tripel to secondary about one month ago today. Trub has settled out and its been sitting on that what about a month.. Should i get it off the trub and into a teriary fermenter?

In the right hand corner there is a search box. Typing in Secondary led to a series of links which you should find useful.

Well the portion of the trub containing the heavy fats and proteins would have been left behind in the primary assuming you carefully racked to secondary. What you are seeing in the bottom of the secondary is yeast that has fallen out of suspension.

I think you are okay to keep your tripel on this yeast for almost as long as you like. 3-6 months should not be a problem at all, although you will likely rack to bottling/kegging far earlier.

Thanks. I also did the secondary search and didnt find exactly what i wanted. Figured id probe the community real fast.
