Hey, a friend brought me a case of TH IPAs recently after several months without tasting one. I remember them being absolutely amazing and this time they were hard for me to finish. They taste very similar in yeast, malt, fermentation, attenuation but the hopping tastes different. They taste like the dry hops were added when the beer was already cold and carbonated. I've created beers with that flavor by keg hopping. They had a very strong geraniol component, like I was putting geranium plant into my IPA. Has anyone else noticed this with TH IPAs lately? I was really disappointed. I think I'm very averse to that geraniol character in my IPA though.

I haven't had them recently but this is not the first I've heard that the beers taste different recently.
