Well, **** me. I was thinking about going, saw they only had Green and Julius at 3pm, went to the gym instead, and now I'm hitting my head against my desk.

King Julius in cans?!

Nate is in the black hooded jacket.

I'm just grabbing my face.
Heeeey buddy!

What time does the line usually start on Fridays? Does Tree House take cards?

Technically? There's always some ******* who gets there around noon or 1pm. Usually, showing up around 330-4 will put you in the first 20 people. With King Julius in cans, who knows. They do take cards and will usually have the first 10 or so people's growlers filled by 5pm opening time.

Will be interesting to see how long the Line gets today. I was there on Wed before thanksgiving expecting a quick visit and ended up in line on the road starting across from the old location and about 2.5 hr wait

We were tickets 47 and 48, Criterium kicked on ticket 43 :( They started selling about 40 minutes early and we were out 50 minutes later. Having only one tap of Criterium was definitely slowing the growler operation down.

JFC, Curiosity 23 started at ~450 cases at opening and there's only a dozen left. At 8pp, that means over 1300 people went through there in 6 hours.

Dean pls move Tree House closer to Boston and away from the other states :(

I was told a much different number. They moved about 230 cases. 600 people in six hours.

Website this morning said 450 of C23 and 450+ of Julius. They were canning while selling though so dunno?

I really wonder if some people/mules have been going recently just to resell it. In line at the king Julius release last week I over heard people behind me talking and not even knowing what they were waiting in line for. "King something? Is there anything else available?" Obviously I'm just speculating but I saw Julius being sold online for $20 a can, which is just ridiculous.

X POST from the MBC thread:

Going Friday. With canning runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will there be any cans left if I get up there Friday around 6ish (assuming there's not a crazy can getting released)? Just growlers? Going either way, but just curious.

You'll probably be fine, they'll lower can limits to extend them to Saturday if necessary.

Yeah, especially with a canning run on Thursday there will be some for Friday. Make sure to check the on-tap page for limit changes.

Thanks! Like I said, going regardless, but happy that there will be some cans there for my first trip up

pythonhgr and another friend of ours may be joining me for the trip as well. If I had to guess we'll get there around 6-6:30 but feel free to shoot me a message. Always nice to put a face to a name around here
Will do.. we might be there a little earlier when the doors open, depending on how long it takes us to get back from trillium and wherever else we end up. I will let you know.

JULIUS (American IPA - 6.8% ABV) - Bursting with pungent American hops, Julius - our flagship American IPA - is a bright, juicy beer filled with flavors and aromas of mango, peach, passionfruit, and a melange of citrus juice. A soft, pillowy mouthfeel and rounded bitterness ensure Julius will never tire the palate - a true joy to drink! $3.75 / can | Limit 8 Cans PP | ~ 475 cases

Two more runs this week - One Tuesday and one Wednesday.

Which isn't a bad thing, better than the incessant "how's the line" posts on the FB group, ughhhhhhhhh

It goes beyond that. There is just so many idiotic and weird fetish posts towards TH that I have never seen before in the beer world. The only reason im still in that group is because I like to poke some fun out of some of the idiotic posts and because jomobono finesse in trolling the trolls there.

Even though TH is 45 minutes away from me, I sometimes wish they were a Central MA brewery instead of Southwestern MA brewery. Too many out of staters (even though people wouldn't stop coming like HF) and because Mass Pike sucks ass.
