Sorry if this is off topic...

I'm a college student, making a kegerator at my parents home and bringing it to my apartment at college. I'd like to bring a keg of a local brew to school with me. But I have a 5-6 hour trip to get to school. Is there anything that can go wrong with the beer if it's in my trunk for 5-6 hours? Should it be placed in my car in my certain position? Or am I worrying about nothing?
 
If its commercial (and filtered) probably not alot of issues.

Try to keep it relatively cool and upright as popkorn says, it will be fine.
 
Just a safety reminder: I guess you will move your CO2 tank, probably full, as well. Make sure not to leave the tank in the car if you park in sunlight, or you will have a tornado in your car.
 
I recently transported my keezer to the neighbors house in my John Deere garden trailer. It was bumpy, but with 30 minutes for the beer to settle, it was fine. I expect the same for you. I am assuming it will stay cold.

Like someone else said, turn off the CO2 and you should be OK. Some yeast will get stirred up, but it will settle.
