Personally, i dont think 2014 was ready. It was overly sweet and not nearly tart enough. Its drinking good now though. 14.2 was great when released and getting better. 2012 is amazeballs now. Looking forward to seeing how blood orange tarte nouveau changes.

Is the blood orange version bottle conditioned with bugs?

If it's just kettle soured like the reg version, I don't think you'd see much change. Not like Riserva at least.

Delivered!
Arrived home from the mall death march and found this monster blocking the door. Thanks so much finsfan this is beyond generous.

Enjoy man! That marble was canned on the 31st and is fantastic! The stainless wineglass was a drunk purchase about a month ago when you mentioned you needed a glass you couldnt break haha. I remembered you mentioned you hadnt had a prairie you were impressed with so hopefully the bomb changes that.

The only two home brews I would give some time is the quad and rye not. only a month on the rye but not sure about the quad. A couple months should be fine with that one. The brett brawl is your decision. Very fruity/funky now but who knows where it will end up. The Duce saisons were the same 12 gallon batch I split between yeast bay saison blend and belle saison yeast. Rye not is also belle saison yeast. Really love that stuff! Let me know what you think. Just make sure to link me in the post so I dont miss it.

Cheers!

I love Belgians and am looking forward to trying them all. Great job on corking the the Brett Brawl. What corker do you use?

I picked up the Colonna corker/capper so I could cap the stubby bottles and crooked stave bottles easier as well. The only thing I had to rig up was how to stop the corker from pushing the cork all the way in like it was intended to do. I found out that sticking these garden clippers in the corker stopped it exactly where I needed and produced pretty uniform corks haha it works!

Ingenuity right there and yeah it worked great the cork and cage are perfect. I want to cage/cork my next sour so I will have to purchase one of those(the corker not the clippers) thanks

Very happy with that purchase. The cage i tried using an actual cage tool to twist on but the loop was tiny. I used a sharpie instead haha.

Before too long, I will be the only one who hasn't tried @hello homebrews. Nice box!

Agreed. Now you know what I don't need when we trade in a couple of weeks. :)

From the looks of it I'll be heafing to the Michigan bottle shops I frequent he pretty much covered Ohio. Sandstone must be from my hometown that's the second person he sent Maumee bay stuff to and they are from Toledo.

How did you end up with 4 beers from CBC?

I wanted to go so bad but plans change...it sucks.

Dude, awesome score. I'm excited to try CS's cerveza sin frontera. It isn't even being released here until next week.

I loved all the awesome stuff that came out when CBC was in Denver. It was an expensive week.

Not as expensive as next year which is in Philly.
