A friend of mine is dying to try that. If anyone wants to trade for a couple bottles/cans, lemme know

I'd be more than happy to send you some but I'm on a temporary trading hiatus. I won't be shipping anything for about a month

I get a case of it every few months for nostalgia sake. My wife and I eloped to Maui and that particular beer made sure I said yes.

I'd be interested in a can or two if they're still around in a month. Don't sweat saving it for me though.

I'll keep you in mind for that one, might even grab another pack to throw in as extras when dissident is released end of February/ first of march

I was in SoCal not long ago and spent 10 hours driving around and was only able to get 1 each of those due to bottle shop limits! Color me jealous

Ha, thanks. A few folks I'm trading with have already been like, "that's kind of pricey..."

Someone will recognize the value and trade for it

They just don't understand how hard to get it is. After what I went through I'm not trading any, lol

If the peticolas dipa is releases somewhere I can get you a growler fill next week I'll thrown in a couple cans of that Maui.

And the problem with that is? :D

It's not a bad thing, but I have a big stout that has been sitting in a 5g whiskey barrel for 15 months waiting to be bottled, several sours that could of been bottled well over a year ago, 3 perlick faucets that I need to install on my keezer, etc. Need to spend some time getting all that stuff done also! Packing up beer = instant lack of motivation for me.

That makes more sense. Im sure that stout and sours are fantastic at this point though! I bet you will be happy you got distracted for so long.

I know where I'm headed if I'm ever in Georgia :D

I've never had any of these beers or even any of these breweries so I'm excited to try them. Some may not make it back home...

In San Antonio, I stopped at a Specs liquor store as recommended by DisturbedChemist and picked up some goodies I can't get back home.

I was sent a ranger creek batch 5 or 6 last year. It was a green wax. Probably not the same as 7 but it was fantastic!

It was a 5, Barrel aged Wee Heavy. I agree, it was pretty good. The 7 is a Sweet Potato Imperial Stout. I've heard it's good, but haven't had it yet.

Not sure I could but a sweet potato beer. That just sounds odd.

I'm sure you would if Tallgrass made it. ;)
I brewed a sweet potato beer in my homebrewing infancy and to this day that's the beer that everyone still talks about. I never did rebrew it, but have been meaning to. It's really not that much different than a pumpkin beer.

Hmm, maybe it wouldnt be too bad, just seems like a bad idea IMO. And yes I would try it if it was tallgrass, I wouldnt have to like it though haha I passed up going to one of their firkin releases because it was a PB&J buffalo sweat. I didnt wanna ruin the beer completely for me. Im glad I didnt go too, I heard it wasnt very good.

You can't get Orval in Philly? I somehow doubt that.
