The only good deal I get around here is a 50lb bag of briess 2-Row for $40 fom tallgrass brewing co. Other than that, everything else is standard LHBS price, plus the hour worth of gas to get there either way

I stopped at a local store on my lunch hour to see if they'd got the Deschutes Green Monster on the shelves yet. I know a few of you wanted to trade for some. No luck with that but I'm told they will have a case or 2 in on Thursday so I'm crossing my fingers.

They were out of Bitterroot's Single Hop there too so I asked the distributor that was stocking the shelves about it and he said "yup everyone is pretty much out already and we just delivered 300 cases around town last week" He said they'd have them re-stocked in a week or so but he hinted that I should check the Albertsons. Thanks beer man,! They had 2 6-packs left and they are both mine now.

Here is what most stores look like right now:

Single Hop empty spot on the left
Yellow cans are the sawtooth blonde
Brown cans are the nut brown

I think they will be busy brewing more single hop for awhile at Bitterroot.

Who the heck knew there were a **** load of craft brew drinkers in Montana? That surprises me.

BTW, I NEED SOME OF THAT.

Ooh, looks like La Bestia Desfavorable. "Belgian White Whiskey". I can't even imagine what that might taste like.

Thats the one. I almost bought it but I held off. Bought enough beer that day. Next time I will and let you know.

Is there a whiskey trading sub forum? How do i get in on the whiskey trading?

That'll get more expensive than beer trading lol. Initybrew basically bought the whiskeys. He sent me cash and a few goodies in return for the whiskeys and of course some extras on my part. Ill love to trade whiskeys but itll be very limited unless you can find pappy van winkle lol

Montana has some awesome little breweries all over the place. Great beer. And it's made for Montanans . They couldn't give a damn if you liked it or wanted it distributed near you. It's for Montanans.

My just unbelievable MAW hit today. Wobrien who was a compete stranger stood in line for a couple hours to get one each on the Father Beast and W13 and then sent them to my punk a$$. Get in on the action over there if you haven't already.

Who's first and second?

Maybe Washington or Oregon?! I'm just guessing...

I need to jump on the band wagon with homebrew trades on this forum. I've done quite a bit of trading on beerforum, but have yet to trade here. Maybe in the future I can set something up with one of you guys...

I really only trade on here and one time for a tasting through the babblebelt. Haven't checked out beerforum, that's Tex's site also? I troll BA some, but I'm not into that trading scene. I just trade with my friends over in the alchy thread.

It is indeed TX's other site. I've done a lot of trades lately, so I need to chill for a few weeks. When I generate some more cash maybe I'll hit you up for a homebrew trade...

Montana is third in the nation per capita breweries.

We've also got more than our share of distilleries

No freaking way someone else from MT on here? Get out of town I don't believe it!! I could throw a rock (really hard) and hit Florence, MT from my house in Lolo. :D :mug:

You going to the brewfest next weekend Kinsman?
