I picked up a standard kegerator with a tower. Thinking about changing to a 3 faucet tower. Anyone been able to work a cooling fan with an air duct hose into one or is three draft lines just too crowded?

I have a three-faucet tower. Originally I planned to actively run cooled water up the tower, however there was insufficient space for all the hoses, at least at the outer diameter I purchased. Instead, I wrapped the three tower lines in foam insulation, the same kind that is used to wrap water-heater hot-water pipes. The thought here is to prevent energy loss and reduce condensation during use rather than keeping beer in the line cold.

Interestingly, using only this foam insulation, I have never had a first beer that was noticeably warm. I’m not sure if it’s the insulation or the fact that the volume of the line in a tower is small compared to the volume in a glass. Either way, it eliminated my perceived need to cool the tower.
