Total NEWB will this work for a kegerator build?

Before I dive into this I was hoping someone could let me know if this will work? I’ve had this mini fridge in my basement for a few years now and it hasn’t been used. Will this work for a kegerator build? I want to use it for sixtels. It does have a freezer but it looks like it is easily removable just don’t know what that means for the lines though. I looked up the model that’s printed on the back but I can’t find a match. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ive never built one from a mini fridge but Ive seen many tutorials on it and so long as the keg will fit I think you should be able to do it.
As far as the freezer, the only concern i see is that the freezer tray has a bottom and top that are connected. Most Ive seen only have a bottom and people usually just carefully bend it down and press it against the back wall. You should be able to do that with the bottom. Yours has a top as well, which should be out of the way for the kegs but right in the way for the lines going up to your tower. Not sure if you can drill through that in the middle or not. My concern is that the whole thing is a giant coolant container and drilling through it would ruin the fridge.

YMMV but my clumsy self ruined my mini fridge when I tried to bend the freezer back

someone said to place a small dowel behind the line as you bend it down SLOWLY..

this fridge is made in brazil, there are many kegerators made with it, it is very simple to fold the plate.

I'm also making a kegerator using it. Still waiting for the tower to arrive from China.

I covered the sides and top in matte black, and the door with brushed steel. I'm still going to cover the temperature controller box.
