My pale ale is in the fermenter, been there 15 days now. I want to bottle but ned to run to the LHBS first and I am under the weather, and to make it worse my AC kicked out this weekend and wont get fixed for a couple days.

Will it hurt my beer to endure 80 degree temps for an afternoon or so until I'm feeling up to bottling?

same happened to me at the beginning of the summer it was closer to 90* F in my house, my beers turned out fine, you may get some yeasty off flavors but don't worry that is why its home brew...

You should be good. Throw a wet towel over it. I'd probably avoid bottle conditioning until your AC gets fixed though. The smaller volume of wort in the bottle makes the beer more vulnerable to temp issues durring the new fermentation and any effect hot fermentation may have will be accelerated.
